A long awaited outing we had planned to go to Pondicherry, but due to some reasons we couldnt, but on the 30 night of sep our friends planned a trip to nandi hills. A place situated 60 km away from bangalore on NH 17, We had plans of seeing the sunrise so we left early on 1 st Oct morning at 4:30 since we were eight of us we went in accent and a baleno. To tell the truth we had never woken up so early even during exam times( haha), I bought some black coffe for all then our journey started in the hope of seeing sunrise, we reached the foot of nandi hill by 5:45 and believe me what we were waiting for was one of the awsome beauty of mother nature we were welcomed with a atmosphere we find only in ooty or any other hill station, it was chilly and misty with visibility 50 mtr only , It was fun climbing the mountain with the car in 2nd gear most of the time and the blind curves ahead . Finally we reached the top we headed to the Tipus drop( where from a height of 1117 mtrs he used to drop the traitors to death). It was so chilly and dew drops were falling as if its raining . We also visited Shiv bagwans temple and after playing around and taking pictures we headed back home it was 8:30 and the sun was not to be seen...........
next time i will be visiting the place in bike.......................
